OVERVIEW

The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) programme in physiotherapy is a postgraduate programme that emphasises the wellbeing of the individual. The two years of the MPT programme. A lot of paramedical programmes are becoming more and more well-liked in the job market, including the MPT programme. Students will learn a variety of physiotherapy treatments through the MPT programme using both modern technology and conventional approaches. The MPT curriculum places a high importance on patients’ physical fitness, and graduates of MPT programmes have received appropriate training. A growing number of medical colleges in India now offer the MPT course, which is becoming more and more popular. The MPT programme requires applicants to have a physiotherapy bachelor’s degree. The MPT programme offers a variety of employment options, and nearly all hospitals and some companies are interested in hiring its graduates. Graduates of MPT programmes make outstanding salaries when compared to those of other paramedical degrees. On successful completion of M.P.T programme, the Physiotherapist professional will be able to take up physiotherapy teaching assignments independently for undergraduate teaching programme. He / She will be able to prepare project proposal with selected research design and interpret the evaluated outcome measures (using sound data processing techniques and statistical methods). He/she will be able to practice in his / her specialty area with advanced knowledge and skills.

    • The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
