Hostels: A Second Home away from Home

The decision to select a University is not the only decision a student from far area, has to take, he also takes the difficult decision of migrating from his/her house to a new place. So, to make the place safe, secure and home like, Rayat Bahra University provides the facility of separate hostels (AC and Non-AC) for girls and boys to give the healthy environment to their students to dwell.

There is  a free 24/7 internet facility available in the hostels so that the students can use uninterrupted internet to do their works.

Rayat Bahra University has a state of art central Library with 24/7 facility near to the hostels where they can sit and read books, can use computers without any disturbance.

Common Room and Gym Area

There is a common room cum TV Room available in both the hostels for the students to sit and talk, to entertain themselves and to do get together or to celebrate birthdays. Gyms are also available free of cost in both the hostels. Apart from this, there is an open area Gym also available for the hostellers near their hostels.

Shopping area and Tuck Shops

There is a shopping area and Tuck shops available near the hostels where students can buy their daily need things.

Play Area

There is a facility of indoor and outdoor sports areas within the hostel and near to hostels where students can play after the study ours.

24/7 Medical Facility

There is a 24/7 medical facility available in the campus where doctors are available 24 hrs. An Ambulance is always in case of emergency. There is a Multi-Specialty Bahra Hospital adjoining the RBU Campus to handle any kind of medical emergency.

    (AS PER ACADEMIC REGULATIONS & STUDENT CONDUCT RULES 2018, PAGE NO. 13)
    • The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
