About The Department

The Department of Management has carved a niche for itself in a short span of time through academic excellence and industry oriented courses. To provide a cutting edge to growing demand of the industry for skill based manpower and to make the students industry ready, the partner companies are involved in the content development, training as well as delivery of the program.

We impart professional education both at the Post Graduate and under graduate level in the field of management. The programs are designed to suit the current industry needs, emphasize holistic development of future managers through the use of unique pedagogy. At the department, we go beyond traditional teaching techniques and provide first- hand experience to the students through live projects in association with industry, NGOs and government. Case study method, Group Activities, Presentations and Team Building Activities involving research, analysis and creativity provide a conducive learning environment to the students. Besides providing domain specific knowledge, emphasis is laid on developing soft skills of the students. The students are given hands-on-training in Curriculum Vitae writing, Group Discussion and Mock- Interviews.

 The students at USMS are a mixed lot of freshers and with work experience. To train the freshers for the rigors of industry and to polish the experienced ones, we have a support cell. The students are provided support by well-established Career Center of the university for moving on the career path. The center helps the students in exploring career options from writing resume to connecting with employers for internships and interviews.
