Overview
Diploma in Health Assistant is a 3-year full-time program under the department of Life Sciences, Rayat Bahra University accredited by NAAC. The Diploma is focused to provide excellent knowledge and the best of practical skills to students so that they could have a bright future and could be at the service of society in the hospitals, Clinics, or any health care services. With this recognition, students will embrace the stepping stool of victory rapidly than others and get the employability immediately after passing the course. During this program, students will learn about all the life systems, human physiology, Anatomy, Clinical biochemistry, Medical microbiology, First Aid, Gynae, Ophthalmology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Pharmacology Medicine, Haematology, Zoology, Botany etc.
Students will be given hand on training on various clinical techniques in the laboratories and at Bahra Hospital and will be given a project on Community engagement for experiential learning. Students will be well equipped with all the essential communication skills and psychology understanding so that they can overcome any challenges and excel in their field.

    • The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
