Rayat Bahra University 10+2 School Wing has quality standards in Technical, Professional,
personal and academic excellence through quality education. The RBU10+2 School is committed
to provide intellectually well developed, morally upright, socially concerned and spiritually
oriented citizen for India. We will envisage our students to imbibe right attitude, value and ideas,
achieve academic excellence through hard work.
Once the students appear in class X examination, students and their parents face another stiff
challenge of opting for the right career and institution. Most students are in a quandary over their
future. The most important aspect of an institution is its academic programme and philosophy.
You need to set certain criteria to choose an institution which aims at the all round development
of the child. It should encourage each and every student in his struggle to develop his body, mind
and spirit and should extract out best in him. An institution needs to consider its every student as
a special. It must focus to prepare the students as per the need of the time and the society giving
a serious consideration to the type of competition in which he has to be exposed. It must enable
its students to prepare for the various careers as per their individual choice, basic attitude and
attributes which may provide them good jobs later.
Rayat Bahra University has introduced classes XI, XII Non-Medical, Medical , Commerce and
Arts streams with the consent of the Punjab state government. This would facilitate quality
education for secondary students utilizing top class infrastructure of the campus. This would help
them to clear entrance tests subsequently for admission to certificate courses after class XII in
the campus. These school students get direct admission in the degree courses after the
completion of the school education. In fact, students of a majority of government schools,
especially in rural areas, are lagging academically due to inadequate infrastructure and lack of
faculty. The students will later undergo an aptitude test to let teachers know their weaknesses in
particular subjects. Accordingly, special emphasis will be laid to improve on those. We will also
test their language skills to make them attain the requisite levels because placement with
renowned companies requires candidates to excel in communication and language skills as well.
Keeping in mind all these requirements, Rayat Bahra group has come up to the expectations of
the region. It has taken a lead to provide an opportunity for competitive examinations along with
the regular teaching and appear under Punjab School Education Board. It will train students to XI
and XII to enable them to have easy entry for various professional courses. It specially aims at
catering to the needs of

Why Study at

Rayat Bahra Group of Institution has been to offering the special kind of school for the students affiliated with Punjab School Education Board, which will provide Extra Coaching Classes from subject experts along with regular teaching class for 10+1 & 10+2  all streams since 2009. The purpose of making arrangements for Extra classes are to enable the students to prepare  for Punjab School Education Board Examination as well as for all sorts of competitive examinations like JEE, NEET and other exams conducted by various states or regional/local level. This way student will not need to search for coaching centers in various subjects moving from pillar to post especially for the professionally trained in all subjects. It is done because special preparation for competitive examination is required apart from conceptual understanding of the subjects.

  • 2 Final Semester Exams:- September and March

Payments of Fee

  • Fee is charged quarterly for 12 months
  • Fee must be paid on or before 10th of the every  quarter.
  • Late fee fine @ Rs 50/- per day shall be charged if the fee not pay by due date. 
  • Name of the defaulters will be struck off from the school rolls after  31st of the month
  • For re admission the arrears of the fee along with fine and other charges shall be charged.

Facilities

 

  1. Well Maintained Campus:-Adequate care has been taken at each campus that the infrastructure is provided in harmony with the natural surroundings. Additionally the dedicated Horticulture department ensures that the best of flora and fauna is created at each property. Each corner of the campus has been designed by professionals.
  2. Hostel: – The Group maintains aesthetically designed and furnished separate hostel rooms for both boys and girls. We have activity centre, reading rooms, running hot and cold water, water coolers, Wi-Fi hostel building, fully dedicated in house guards for round the clock security, airy, spacious and tastefully furnished rooms.
  3. Mess: Management run hygienic and easy access to student’s mess.
  4. Medical care centre:- Each campus has a well equipped medical centre managed by a resident doctor supported by well equipped dispensary. A round
  5.  the clock ambulance service is also available at each facility.
  6. Sports Facilities:-The students consistently take part in various sports meets and competitions held on campus. For this purpose they have been provided with excellent basket ball and volleyball courts, football, hockey and cricket fields in a well defined and maintained complex.
  7. Laboratories and workshops:-The labs are equipped with highly sophisticated machines, gadgets and tools. Spaciously designed workshops are fully equipped to provide training in all aspects. These labs are established under real quality standard taking care of syllabus.
  8. Computer labs:-Each institution has well equipped computer labs, supported by campus wide network and 24 hour high speed connectivity. All campuses are wi-Fi enable so as to facilitate internet connectivity all around the campus and in hostel as well.
  9. Libraries:-Each institution has an independent well stocked library. The collection of all type of text books and general books are available. A very comfortable and congenial environment helps foster the urge to learn.
  10. Transport:-Rayat Bahra maintains a fleet of self owned and operated buses. To and fro bus transport linking nearby cities within the radius of 50 kms. 
  11. Security:- Each campus has a fully dedicated security set up to provide round the clock. The security staff is highly trained to handle all kinds of exigency.
  12. Canteen and shopping complex:- In house well equipped canteen and shopping complex is provided for all campuses.

Co Curricular activities

In order to ensure all round development of the personality of the students, the school lays stress on Co curricular activities. Every student who studies in the school is encouraged to pursue his/her interests and participate in activities such Music, Dance Art & craft, debates and  sports etc.

  • To promote the feeling of national Integration and patriotism various festivals and national days are celebrated in the school like Christmas Day, Lohri, Diwali, Republic Day, Independence Day, Teacher’s Day etc.
  • The school organize the science trips to Gujral Science City, Kurukshetra planetariums to increase the practical knowledge of science activities. 
  • We consider educational tours and outings as an integral part of a student’s complete education. We believe that it is an essential part of an education to aware the students about the environment and the development of the country.
  • The students are encouraged to participate in an Inter school competitions i.e essay writing, Logo making and poster making competitions, Debate and declamation contests.
  • The students are always very excited to participate in the Annual Sports meet and Youth festivals. They compete with the university level students. They are consistently take part in various sports competitions, athletic meet and tournaments held in the campus like basketball, football, badminton and volleyball etc.  

Attendance and Leave

 

  • Every student is expected to put in 100% attendance unless compelled by illness or other unavoidable circumstances.
  • However 75% of the total attendance is compulsory for the students appearing in the Annual Examination as well as board examination.
  • Parents are informed everyday in the morning if students is absent from the school without information
  • Leave is allowed only in case of emergency or on medical ground. 
  • All applications for leave must be signed by the parents/guardians.
  • Half day leave will not be granted.
  • If a student remains absent from school for ten or more days continuously without informing in the school, his/her name may be struck off from the school rolls.

School Term and Vacations

  • The school session is starting w.e.f 1st April to 31st   March.
  • Summer Vacations (June)
  • Winter Vacations (Dec- Jan 10-15 days)

SCHOOL TIMINGS AND VISITING HOURS

  •  CLASSES XI , XII = 9.00AM  TO 2.30 PM
  • Visiting hours to meet the Principal = 10.00 am to 11.00 am
  • Second Saturday of every month will be a holiday.
  • The school timings can be changed as and when considered necessary after giving proper notice to all concerned. 
  • Parents are requested not to go to the classrooms during the school hours.

Withdrawal

  • The Father or Guardian of the student must sign application for the withdrawal of a student.
  • A month’s notice is required for withdrawal or one month’s fee and other dues in lieu thereof are to be deposited by the parents.
  • No refund whatsoever is allowed when a student is withdrawn without prior notice.
  • The principal has the right to rusticate any student if he /she do not come up to the expectations of the school.
  • A student may be rusticated on the grounds of unsatisfactory progress and indiscipline.

School Transport

  • Transport charges are to be deposited along with the tuition fee.
  • The students are charged for full month whether they use school transport for full month or a part-thereof.
  • There is no facility for one way travel.
  • The students wi
  • ll be picked up from and dropped at fixed stops. No provision is there for picking up the students from their door steps.
  • In case of the unexpected breakdown of the school transport, parents/ guardians are expected to make some alternative arrangements at their own risk.

Academic Records

    (AS PER ACADEMIC REGULATIONS & STUDENT CONDUCT RULES 2018, PAGE NO. 13)
    • The student has cleared all the courses prescribed for the program.
    • The student has obtained at the end of every semester SGPA of at least 4.5 for Diploma & under graduate courses and SGPA 5.0 for post graduate courses. (For M.Pharm, B.Pharm, D.Pharm, B.Pharm (Practice) Courses, SGPA will be 5.0).
    • The student has obtained a minimum CGPA of 5.00 for Diploma & under graduate courses and CGPA 5.5 for post graduate courses.
    • The student has not taken more time than specified for completion of the course.
    • Student has satisfied all the rules of evaluation.
    • No case of indiscipline or unfair means is pending against the student.
    • No dues are pending against the student.
